Silver Cascade Falls

La chute Maligne est située en amont du réservoir qui domine la chute principale Ouiatchouan. Haute de 49 mètres, elle est aménagée pour régulariser le niveau du réservoir de la prise d'eau de l'usine de Val-Jalbert. Elle forme un bassin de flottage où s'accumule le bois descendu des lacs Ouiatchouan, Bouchette et des Commissaires, bois qu'on transformera en pâte durant l'année dans la pulperie.
